There ain't no such thing as a fancy couch. You know that nifty poster on Pinterest that says, "no matter how slow you run, you're still lapping everyone on the couch?" Well, if you're out running or even walking today, you're lapping me. Tomorrow is RLAM and I have sadness in my heart.
Speaking of sadness in my heart, that is one of the kids' sayings. We have several from when the kids were wee ones.
Sleep was "feep." Example: "I don't want to go to feep."
Sadness was not a feeling, it was in the heart. Example: "I have sadness in my heart."
Elephants were "hay-hays."
We still have someone who prefers "puhsketti" instead of "spaghetti."
Ahh, those are better thoughts.
